How to download TikTok slideshow photos

What you can save from TikTok

Public TikTok videos and photo posts, saved as a clean copy where the platform provides one.

The Photo tab on the TikTok page of this site saves a JPG image. No account is needed and nothing is installed.

Step 1: copy the link

In TikTok, tap Share on the video and choose Copy link. Short vm.tiktok.com links work too.

Step 2: paste it

Open the TikTok Photo Downloader page and paste the link into the box. It starts on its own and shows a preview in a few seconds. You can also press the Paste button.

Step 3: save the file

Press the Download button. You get a JPG image. On iPhone, open the Downloads list in Safari, tap the picture and choose Share, Save Image. On Android the file goes to Downloads and shows in Gallery.

About quality

Pictures are saved at the largest public size the platform shares. The same picture you see in the post is what you get, with nothing added.

If it does not work

TikTok short links such as vm.tiktok.com work. If a link says the post has no video, it may be a photo slideshow, so switch to the Photo tab.

Open the link in a private browser window. If it opens without logging in, it is public. Wait a minute and try again, as platforms sometimes limit requests for a short time.
