Privacy policy

This policy explains what information is handled when you use ReelGrab (https://www.reeldownloadertools.com/). We keep it short because we collect very little.

Information you give us

• Links you paste. They are sent to our server only to fetch the media for that request. We do not keep them in a database.
• Contact messages. If you use the contact form we receive the name, email address and message you type, and use them only to reply.

We do not ask for accounts, passwords or payment details.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and our server may record your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested and the time. We use this for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting, and keep it for a limited period.

When analytics is switched on, we use Google Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand which pages and tools people use, whether downloads succeed, and similar product events. We do not send the media links you paste into Analytics. Google may process this data under its own terms; see Firebase privacy.

Cookies and local storage

Analytics and advertising partners may set cookies. Where the law requires it, Google shows a consent message so you can choose. More detail is on the Cookie Policy page.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

The site shows ads served by Google and its partners. Please note:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or visit aboutads.info.
• You can learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• You can change your ad choices at any time from the Ad privacy settings link in the footer, where available.

How we use information

• To run the downloader and show you results.
• To protect the site from abuse and keep it working.
• To respond to messages and copyright notices.
• To show advertising that keeps the service free.
• To measure how the site is used so we can improve tools and reliability.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to run the site (hosting, advertising) and when the law requires it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK or California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to certain processing. Because we hold very little, the simplest way is to email support@reelgrab.example and we will help. California residents: we do not sell personal information.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Third-party sites

The media you save comes from other platforms, and our pages may link to other sites. Their privacy practices are their own.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page.
