About ReelGrab

Why we built it

Short videos and photos are everywhere, but watching them offline, on a flight or with a weak connection, is harder than it should be. Many tools that promise a fix are covered in pop-ups, ask for your login or push an app you do not need. ReelGrab is meant to be the opposite: one page, one pasted link, one file.

How it works

It takes five quick steps, and you only do the first one.

1. 1 You paste the link to a public post.
2. 2 Our server reads that post's public page or public data feed.
3. 3 It finds the best media file the platform already serves to everyone.
4. 4 You get a preview and a Download button.
5. 5 The file passes through our server as a stream to your device. We never save it, and we do not keep the links you submit.

What we support

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, Dailymotion, Tumblr, VK, Vimeo, SoundCloud, BitChute, Bluesky, Likee, Kwai, 9GAG. Each platform has its own page with instructions that match how that app copies links. See the guides for tips and troubleshooting.

Our principles

• Public content only. We cannot and do not fetch private posts.
• Respect for creators. We encourage personal use and credit, and we act on valid copyright notices. See our DMCA page.
• Honest ads. Ads are labelled and kept away from the download buttons.
• No affiliation. ReelGrab is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any platform we support.

Who runs this site

ReelGrab is an independent project. It is not part of any social platform, and it is not owned by one. You can reach us at support@reelgrab.example.

How we write and keep pages up to date

• Written by people, for people. Guides and help pages are written by hand around real questions from visitors, not generated in bulk.
• Checked against real links. Before a guide or a tool page says something works, we try it on real public links. When a platform changes and something breaks, we fix the tool and update the pages that mention it.
• Honest about limits. Each tool says what it cannot do, such as private posts, Highlights or paid streaming services. See the updates page for known limits and recent changes.
• Corrections. If you find a mistake, tell us on the contact page. We correct it and update the date shown on the page.
• Advertising. Ads are labelled and kept away from download buttons. They do not decide what we write, and we do not accept payment for reviews.
