How ReelGrab handles copyright complaints.

Last updated: October 29, 2026

ReelGrab does not host or store media files. Files are streamed from the original platform to the visitor who asked for them. We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

Filing a notice

Send the following to support@reelgrab.example:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.
  2. The web address(es) of the material, with enough detail for us to find it.
  3. Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What we do

When we receive a complete notice we review it and, where appropriate, block the affected address from being processed by the tool. Because the original file stays on the platform that hosts it, you should also send the notice to that platform.

Counter-notice

If you believe a block was a mistake, send us a counter-notice with the same level of detail. Knowingly sending false notices can carry legal consequences.
