How to download Facebook reels: copy the link from Facebook, paste it into the box at the top of this page and press Download. You get an MP4 video in a few seconds. It is free, needs no login and adds no watermark.
Facebook rarely gives you a download button, so a good video can be gone from your feed before you get to watch it again. ReelGrab saves public Facebook videos and reels as MP4 files from their link, in HD and SD when both exist. You do not need to log in, install an app or share a password, and nothing is added to the file. Private groups, friends-only posts and stories stay private, because they are not visible to a public tool. Open the video, copy its link, paste it here and pick the quality that suits your phone, your storage and your connection.
What it supports: Public Facebook videos and reels in HD or SD. Group, friends-only and private videos are not available.

Good to know
What to know about Facebook links and files
Links that work
Links look like facebook.com/watch/?v=, facebook.com/reel/, facebook.com/name/videos/ or a short fb.watch address.
What is supported
Public videos and reels only. Group posts, friends-only posts and stories need a login, so they are not available.
Quality to expect
HD and SD buttons appear when Facebook publishes both. A single button means only one version exists.
Common reasons it fails
Videos that ask you to log in when opened in a private window, and videos limited by country or age, cannot be saved.
Facebook reels
How Facebook reels differ from normal videos
A Facebook reel is a short vertical video, usually 1080 by 1920, that Facebook shows to people who do not follow the page. Reels have their own links, which contain /reel/ and a number, and they are saved the same way as other public videos. Pages and people who set the audience to Public can be saved. Private and friends-only reels cannot.
When Facebook keeps more than one version, you see an HD button and an SD button. HD is sharper and larger. SD is smaller and quicker to save. The sound stays in the file, and music in reels is licensed only for use inside Facebook, so keep saved reels for personal viewing and credit the creator if you share.

How to download Facebook reels?
Copy the link from Facebook, paste it into the box at the top of this page and press the button. You get a preview and a Download button in a few seconds. It is free and needs no account.
Is there an FB reels video downloader app?
You do not need one. This free online tool works in your browser. For one-tap access, add it to your home screen and it opens like an app, without an APK or a store download.
Can I download a Facebook reel in HD without a watermark?
Yes. When Facebook publishes an HD version you see an HD button, and we add no logo. If only one version exists, that is the one you get.
Why does my reel link say it could not be fetched?
The reel may not be public, the account may be private, or the link may be the page and not the reel itself. Open it in a private window. If it plays without a login, try again.
Can I download a Facebook reel without watermark?
Yes. The reel is saved as the MP4 Facebook serves, with no logo added by us.
Is there a Facebook downloader app?
You do not need one. This free online tool works in your browser, and you can add it to your home screen.
Is this a free online video downloader app?
It is a free online downloader that runs in your browser, so you do not need an app or an APK. For one-tap access, add the site to your home screen from the install card on this page.
Do I have to install anything?
No. Everything runs in your browser, so it works the same on Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows, Mac and Linux.
What quality will I get?
We return the best file the platform makes available for that post. That is often 1080p for video and a full-size JPG for photos. We never upscale or re-compress.
Can I download from private accounts?
No. Only public posts are supported. We never ask for, and you should never share, your login details.
Where does the file end up?
On desktop it goes to your Downloads folder. On phones it lands in Downloads or Files; from there you can move it to your gallery or camera roll.
Do you keep copies of what I download?
No. Files pass through as a stream and nothing is saved on our servers.
Why does a reel fail sometimes?
The post may be private, deleted, age-restricted, or the platform may be temporarily rate-limiting requests. Wait a moment and try again, or report the link to us.
