That link is not from a site we support yet

The link belongs to a site this tool does not work with. Here are the sites that do, and what we leave out.

By the ReelGrab editorial team, about a 2 minute fix

What you see

The video downloader page says the link is not supported.

Quick fix

1
Check which site the link is from.
2
Pick that site from the list on the video downloader page.
3
If it is not on the list, the tool cannot save it.

Common causes

A site we do not cover

The address belongs to a website that is not on our list, such as YouTube or a streaming service.

A redirect or an advert

Some links look like they point to a supported site but pass through an ad or a tracker first.

A search result page

Links copied from search results can be wrapped in the search engine's own address.

A typo in the site name

A mistyped address, such as instagarm.com, belongs to a different website.

The details

What it means

The address belongs to a website that is not on our list. We check the site name first, and if it is unknown, we say so at once instead of sending you to a page that cannot help.

Sites we support

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Snapchat Spotlight, Pinterest, Dailymotion, Tumblr, VK, Vimeo, SoundCloud, BitChute, Bluesky, Likee, Kwai and 9GAG. Only public posts work.

Sites we do not support

YouTube, Netflix, Spotify, Apple Music, Disney and similar services are not supported. Their content is paid, protected or streamed in a way that a public tool should not copy. This is a choice, not a bug.

If your site is on the list

Check that you copied the link from that site and not from a redirect page, an advert or a search result. Open the link in a new tab to see where it really goes. If a short link sends you to an unsupported site, then that site is the real one.

If you think a popular site is missing, tell us on the contact page. We add sites when we can serve them honestly.

How to avoid it next time

Copy links from the app's Share menu.
Open the link in a new tab to see where it really goes.
Check the site's name in the address bar.
